Ok I'm back, been having trouble with the new host.
I ordered a 2150, now to decide on a motherboard. I'd like to be able to upgrade to an IB i5 so I want to keep it future proof into the mountain Lion with a 7 series board. So far I've had my attention on the Asrock Z77E-ITX, ASUS P8Z77-I...
I'm considering using this case for my mini build. Can I get by using normal sized ram that doesn't have a taller heatspreader, or would I have to use these shorter sticks?
Just want to make sure. I've read some posts that users have updated to newer versions of osx and some things no longer work. My memory may be incorrect but possibly audio, usb, sleep etc. breaking after an update.
So is it safe to assume, that any of your recommended builds are working solid...

Cross my fingers for this.
Yep, glanced over that, thanks for reminding me, its a great resource. So I can assume they are close to if not 100% compatible with 10.7.4?
Edit: Also added that I'd like a 20-pin usb3.0 header on the m/b as well.
Hi all,
Planning on getting rid of my mac mini and building a custo-Mac Mini and I'm really excited about it.
History: I've been an enthusiast pc builder (especially silent pcs) for about 7 years and just recently left windows to a full osx environment after I picked up a MBA. That led me to...
