    New Catalina install: [EB|`H:CHK] Err (0xE) @ GV boot-signature

Samsungs PM991 is indeed highly problematic with Hackintosh. Get another drive and you will be fine. Even Firmware updates didn't fix the panics on my PM991.

Dell 7020 - Using only onboard HD4600 GPU - Build Files and Overview for the experienced. 4k ready.

Unfortunately not. Im not even seeing 4k with this config.plist. Although i don't see why. I even tried to match it part by part to my 4k-config but it still was not providing 4k. Makes me wonder if there is some bug in Lilu/WE that gets triggered by Catalina and some non-graphic-specific setting.

Dell 7020 - Using only onboard HD4600 GPU - Build Files and Overview for the experienced. 4k ready.

Already tried all HiDPI mods, RDM and Resxtreme - they allow me to set 2560x1440 but it looks ugly as hell as it scaled and not HiDPI. And i definetely had it working without any EDID mod a couple days ago which drives me mad :banghead:

Dell 7020 - Using only onboard HD4600 GPU - Build Files and Overview for the experienced. 4k ready.

I do have an Optiplex 3060 with the exact same display running at 2560x1440 HiDPI and it is looking excellent. With the 7020 i had the option in display settings a couple days ago but then i messed up and lost the EFI. Now i can't get it back no matter what i do :/

    << Solved >> Dell Optiplex 7020 - 4K monitors on Intel 4600 Integrated GPU

@nicksoph As i understand you have a 4k 27inch display in your possession. Would you kindly check if you have 2560x1440 as HiDPI in the display settings? @bluepr0 Seeing you also had this problem in post 105, did you ever get 2560x1440 running with HiDPI?

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Guys, I'm stumped. I had a 9020 SFF working with the Catalina mini-guide a couple days ago with full 4K and HiDPI on the DP. Then I made a backup with CC and erased the Disk to later find out that CC did not copy the EFI partition. Now I set it all up again and can't remember what I did before...

<< Solved >> Intel UHD 630 not working

Using Index 18 and physically unplugging the internal speaker is the best solution atm to have good sound quality and volume control on the back port.

[Guide] Intel Framebuffer patching using WhateverGreen

Your config.plist is totally messed up. There are IGP settings all over the place and multiple times. Start fresh.

<< Solved >> Intel UHD 630 not working

Indeed, turning off the speaker in BIOS and using index 18 will turn it on again.

<< Solved >> Intel UHD 630 not working

Ahh, very nice. I was having a static buzz on the front port with your latest config.plist so had to use the monitor output from the Displayport. Any chance to get the back port without the internal speaker? Did you try them all?

[Guide] Intel Framebuffer patching using WhateverGreen

Hey guys, maybe you could help me. My System is a Dell Optiplex 3060 MT with an i3-8100 and the corresponding UHD 630 IGP. The problem is present in High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G5019) and latest Mojave 10.14.3 (18D109). As soon as i get the GPU detected correctly by using...
