That's crazy you built one so similar! The hardware is still working great, but after updating to Sierra in December it doesn't run nearly as well as it did with Mountain Lion. It will hang up occasionally and is just not as snappy. But, I'm happy that I've gotten 4 years out of it. I'm now...

Stop the popping in (High) Sierra

Unloading and reloading worked for me! Then I updated to 10.12.3 and it still worked without reloading. Thanks a lot!

    macOS 10.12.3 Update

Just updated to 10.12.3 via App Store with no issues. Audio even still worked. For reference, I did a clean install of 10.12.2 a week and a half ago.

Stop the popping in (High) Sierra

I had the same issue today (10.12.2). The script worked fine for a week or so, but then I rebooted and it no longer works. The sound pops when playing a sound after a long enough time with no sound. I ran the launchctl command again but it says "service already loaded". Any thoughts?

iTunes HD content not working on my ivy Hackintosh

I too would love to see a solution to the iTunes video problem. Here's just another bit of information to add to the mix. On my rig (i7 3770k, gtx-660 ti, ga-z77x up5 th, OS 10.8.5), I can play all HD videos and content when playing them through iTunes on my Windows 7 virtual machine using...

Hey guys, I've got a question for you all. I would like to be able to output audio via the DisplayPort output on my 660 ti, but I'm not sure what modifications I would need to do to make that possible. I think most of the information you'll need about my system is in my initial post, but if...

Hey guys, Just wanted to give you all a quick update. Everything is still working lightning fast, and I've upgraded to 10.8.5 Supplemental Update 1.0 without at hitch. I also installed another identical set of 16gb memory, bringing my computer to the motherboard's max of 32gb, which is AWESOME...

Thanks for the info, but as shown in one of my edits below my original post, I just ended up plugging my dvd burner into a regular sata port and one of my hard drives into the gsata port which did the trick.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to add quickly that I just updated to 10.8.4 flawlessly. Here's what I did: 1. Cloned my OS drive just incase something went awry 2. Installed/restarted from the software update 3. Upon reboot, reinstalled the audio driver from multibeast, and restarted one more time...

Hi to all, I just wanted to add an update to my setup. Just yesterday, I added a 3rd monitor, specifically the Dell U2412M (http://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-U2412M-LED-Monitor/dp/B005JN9310/) All I can say is this monitor is a perfect compliment to the Dell U2713HM which is my main...

Boma123, so sorry I've taken so long to get back to you, but I'm glad to hear it's working! But just to clarify, the things that you can see in the screenshot are the only things that I installed. The difference may have been that you have the regular 660 ti and i have the superclocked version...

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while, been super busy with exams and such. Tonight I finally had a chance to open up my Hack and change the Blu-ray drive from the GSATA port to one of the sata 2 ports as suggested above (In addition to replacing the very slow 250 GB Media Cache hard...

You're right! Silly me for missing that. The only problem I realized is.. my DVD drive is connected to the GSATA port, not one of the regular SATA ports. And I couldn't find a hotswap option for the GSATA :( Does anyone have any other ideas? Currently the DVD Player App error message is the...
