@scottkendall, thank you for your help. In the end I changed to Opencore 0.6.3 and made a new iMac 17.1 serial.etc. I was then able to install Big Sur. Im impressed with OpenCore so far.

Hello, I have atempted up update from system definition 14.1 to 17.1. I used the guide in the OP and then pasted my old Serial number , Board serial number and System UUID into the Clover configurator Sbios page. Iam signed out of the apple ID. When I restart I still have iMac 27inch Late 2013...

No. I have read somewhere on this forum about installing to a USB drive and then once the new clover is working copying that to your EFI .

I had this problem after updating to Clover 4988. I went back to 4972 vesion of Clover and all working again.

Yes I use one DVI and one HDMI with adaptor for my 2 apple screens.

I have the blue AMD RX 590 limited edition and HDMI works perfectly.

Hi Gigamax, I did a clean install of Mojave 10.14.3 and then used migration assistant to restore. All good, much better bench marks. In Bios switched on Internal Graphics. Updated WEG and now all working well. Thank you.

Hello, I had the same problem with my Samsung 950. You must remove IONVMeFamily.kext from /System/Library/Extensions I then had to install new Nvidia web drivers. Good Luck
