Have the same error (70014) using Mavericks with DVD Player and LG Blu-ray Combo Writer and a Samsung DVD writer. It is not the same type of error as seen in previous posts (70012) so those fixes are not the cure. If I come across a fix, I'll be sure to post. Meanwhile, I'll just keep looking...
