I am unsure wheter to just purchase (and bill Intel/Gigabyte) a PCI Sata port card (do they even work with Hackintosh?) Or go through the recall - dismantle and then rebuild. Only just recovered from having to fit the CPU cooler :crazy: Not sure if just running the DVD from the 3/Gbps ports...

Hi fuzzysherbert and dougri - Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post - I appreciate it :) Turns out I was editing the wrong boot plist - the one I was changing was located in the Library/Prefences/System Preferences. Guess that explains why the changes were making no difference lol...

Hi peeps, I cant get my system to use the settings in my edited plist - I am trying to boot into arch=i386 busratio=29 -force64 I have 8GB RAM - Hackintosh will switch itself off at the grey apple / white apple background. So I need to add the -force64 so the system runs with 8GB RAM...

Does anyone know what definition in Multibeast to use? (Mac Pro - 3.1 etc) My i7-2600k & Gigabyte P67-UD4 shows up as 1.67Mhz. Not sure if it will effect anything - or even worth changing :)

I built an i7 2600k SB system. The thing flies doing conversion in Handbrake. Just make sure your RAM heat sinks will fit with your CPU cooler. :)
