I recently upgraded my system to Monterey 12.3. OpenCore 0.7.9. I started with a clean install of 11.2.3, mapped my USB ports, and then I did a direct upgrade to 12.3 via the App Store. In Monterey, I had to make the adjustments for Bluetooth discussed in the OpenCore install guide.

I swapped out the DW1560 (M.2 BCM94352Z) with a M.2 BCM94360NG. I got it for $39 on Amazon. It's natively supported by Mac OS. So, I removed the four kexts that were required for the DW1560 on Monterey:
AirportBrcmFixup
BrcmFirmwareData
BrcmPatchRAM3
BlueToolFixup
OC Snapshot to match kext...
I think I'm having a similar issue. I upgraded from 11.2.3 to 12.3. In Apple Music when using bluetooth, any songs that are not downloaded/local just skip. Sometimes there will be intermittent audio that skips. If it's downloaded/local, I can listen to it.
Strange: If I use wired headphones...
I turned Trim on. I don't think I ever had it enabled.
I'm still getting the 15 sec delay starting about 15 seconds into the boot. I disabled these kexts to see if they were potentially causing the delay:
AirportBrcmFixup
BrcmBluetoothInjector
BrcmFirmwareData
BrcmPatchRAM3
Nope. 15 sec...
Updated my EFI folder with new SSDT's generated by SSDTTime. My SSDT-EC only has one entry vice the 30+ of the generic one. Similar scenario for the SSDT-PLUG. I added the SSDT-HPET and required config.plist patches.
No change in the Long Boot Pause. Still 15 seconds where it sits with a...
@Edhawk, looking at my SSDT-EC generated by SSDTTime and your SSDT-EC-USBX, I can see you added the highlighted section for USB. Why is that added? And why add it to the EC?
Also, looking at the generic SSDT-EC from the OpenCore Install Guide... there's a HUGE difference. Only one entry for...
@hannibal1969, I don't think my boot delay is associated with the SSD Trim incompatibility issue people have been experiencing with Monterey and certain NVMe SSDs. I'm still using Big Sur on this build and I'm using a Samsung EVO Sata SSD. I don't see any Trim related messages in the verbose log.
@Edhawk, as you point out, I only have two SSDT’s. Your build has eight. Are all eight of yours generated using SSDTTime? And what to they do?
