I got my computer to install Snow Leopard using a boot disk I found somewhere on the web. I tried the iBoot from here and iBoot Legacy and would always get a kernal panic (wouldn't work). Now I'm trying to install Lion and I'm getting the same kernal panic. None of the boot disc's are helping...
What I meant was when I first switched the boot disc to install SL, SL would not boot or install. It just gave me an error, told me to restart computer. It never gave me an option to install.
I cannot for the life of me get SL to install on this motherboard. I have same motherboard and processor as you with a GTX 580. Any links or suggestions?
First time here. Been trying to install Snow Leopard on a ASUS P8P67 EVO motherboard with an intel i7 2600k processor Sandy Bridge, GTX 580 Nvidia. I get iBoot to work, I put SL DVD in tray, it shows on iBoot screen. I hit F5 and then enter. I get Apple screen and then it loads up lots of lots...
