I have to say thank you sir! Even if it's a fail it still helps me further...heads up and onwards =) So Bottomline: AVB out of the Box is not (yet) supported by intels X299 chip on an MSI Board.

Any News on this topic? Have an 1248 too and wanna use the AVB Stream over Ethernet Connection on a future Hackintosh.

Perfect now click on that wheel, there should appear some options: My question: is "Launch Mac Virtual Entity" displayed or not? You dont need a Motu device for it, its the AVB stream enabler for getting acces into an AVB network. But its only there if all components match some conditions...
