2 x HP 2711 (27") purchased from NewEgg, Feb 2013 around $180 ea.
(These were listed as discontinued/refurbished - HP label was removed, but internally
all the HP info was present and no "mileage" on the backlight - O hrs.
They have both worked perfectly.

Before attempting to edit the DSDT for my Gigabyte MB so audio would work in Mountain Lion,
I loaded the DSDT - DSDT-GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-F9.aml - into the DSDT editor (from olarila.com)
and attempted to compile.

Well, I went from barely moving in Time Machine to 10-12 min a gigabyte for a 16 gigabyte system partition-only backup. So, I guess that would be considered an improvement. But then again I cloned the whole partition with CCC in < 5 min.
