solved!
Installing the new version of Carbon Copy Cloner (v.5.0.3), you can create a backup sparseimage of High Sierra and then restore it using installer High Sierra disk utility
cheers!
hi everyone,
there's a problem with a backup sparseimage (created with Carbon Copy Cloner) using High Sierra disk utility: when I try to restore the file, it appears the following error:
"source volume is read-write and cannot be unmounted, so it can't be block copied";
this kind of issue is...
this verbose message is related to graphics ... you have to disable Nvidia graphics in your dsdt/ssdts

hi Rehab,
problem solved!
I've forgotten to set Drop OEM=true in config.plist;
- no need of Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext;
- no need to modify ig-platform-id;
thank you very much for the support and patience!
ok Rehab,
I've put all the patched files in Clover/Acpi/patched/ folder, but the problem persists, spinning wheel at half slide bar of beta 8 installer, so, if the files are correctly patched and Nvidia graphics correctly disabled, the problem is not related to graphics...
anyway, the final compiler summary after having applied all patches to my DSDT.dsl is:
"2 Errors, 37 Warnings, 158 Remarks, 131 Optimizations, 8 Constants Folded"
