Thanks for the help! Unfortunately, this doesn't improve the situation, but I think that could be attributed to this issue:
The SLTP variable in your provided AML conflicts with an SLTP method in the origin DSDT; can/should this be renamed? I was a bit lost on the purpose of this until looking...
It seems like I've correctly applied this via hotpatch in my SSDT-DDGPU, as I no longer need to inject a dummy device-ID through Clover, but I'm concerned that the _STA in IOReg's IOACPIPlane is still 0xFFFFFFFF and my battery life is still pretty bad. Is _STA something to worry about? Is...
Okay! I've applied SSDT-PTSWAK (disabling fixes that didn't seem necessary) for the WAK arg fix and also left in the _SST fix for the heck of it. The problem still occurs. I have attached Problem Reporting files.
Two questions I have / am wondering if anyone here knows the answer to:
1. The...
@dandepeched FWIW, I had to need to drop _DSM method for the existing LPCB device for the SSDT-LPCB to work, otherwise they will conflict and the SSDT-LPCB has no effect. I've renamed all _DSM to XDSM with success on my E480 and applied the LPCB patch.
Also, I've read through your SSDT-BAT...
This is the exact same problem plaguing my E480 -- functions relating to the EC such as media keys / EC Queries, LID detection, etc. do not work after the first time the machine is put to sleep. Before using sleep, these function just fine.
I am in the midst of cleaning up my config (was...
XMP set to Auto (off according to ASRock), followed by reducing speeds (from 3200Mhz with XMP) all the way down to 2400Mhz has effect on the issue. While I think some boards cause the XMP issue, I don't think the ASRock is one of them.
I also don't have any lag issues on my RAM's full speed...
I have it working as USB 3 Gen 1 by disabling TB in the BIOS, and works like a charm, no configuration necessary. I'm basing this off of System Profiler's speeds reporting "5Gb/sec".
As a matter of fact, all of my ports show up as USB 3 Gen 1. I wonder if this could have anything to do with...
352Z fit and worked as a replacement for the onboard Wi-Fi card. I'd rather keep the M.2 slots available. EDIT: I see what you mean now, I am not sure if there is room in the enclosure, it does seem like adding an adapter might cut it close. It might be possible but I haven't checked the...
Renaming the external GPU's DSDT device and/or spoofing an invalid vendor/device-id could do the trick. If it doesn't get matched by any kexts, it'll just be another device attached to the system, right?
I can confirm, switching from AptioMemoryFix to OsxAptioFix2Drv solves the issue. IIRC this issue did not occur under OsxAptioFixDrv, but am not going to check since 2 is newer. I was under the impression that AptioMemoryFix was a replacement/newer (please correct me if I'm wrong), but it seems...
- USB3 works for me at full speed. Check ioreg to see if your USB ports are getting injected as USB 2 -- even with the associated AppleUSBXHCI kext patches in Clover (the updated one for 10.14.1), I faced this issue with 10.14.1 and USBInjectAll, but not 10.14.0 and below. I used USBInjectAll...
