A mac issue? Do normal macbooks also have this problem in Mavericks?
I find it strange that it was working fine and then all of a sudden the problem came back again for no apparent reason. It's also strange that the battery indicator in the login window still displays correctly...
Ok! So I reinstalled about 3 weeks ago, and that *seemed* to fix the issue, but it's just now started back again! I haven't done anything out of the ordinary—I've just been using it to browse the web and code mostly. Obviously I don't want to do a fresh install every three weeks haha. Any ideas...
No but it looks like I might have to. Updated to 10.9.2 and can't get my system to boot with the Unibeast USB (boot with verbose says "still waiting for root device"). Sigh.

That is what I am resorting to now, since nothing else seems to have worked. Such a pain! But I'm taking the opportunity to go ahead and upgrade to Mavericks as well... I will update on whether it solves the issue. Thanks!
