currently using an LG IPS225V 21,5" IPS panel, VGA/DVI/HDMI inputs. Not a perfect display, but it fits to my needs. It have some issues with backlight bleeding, but nothing to complaint, I payed just 105€ with a discount coupon

you cannot repair the volume if you're booting from it try to boot from the unibeast drive and you'll be able to repair the disk

I'll purchase this weekend an optical drive for my current hack I can get a Sony Optiarc AD-5280S for about 10€. Will it be compatible? will I have any sleep issues? current hack based on an Intel i5 3570K, MSI Z77A-GD65 and GTX 570

managed to resolve it. I installed the intel driver from multibeast, and probably it was causing some kind of conflict. a clean install managed to sort it thks for this excellent guide

How you managed to get the ethernet port working? If I reboot the system with the ethernet cable plugged it doesn't work. If I unplug the cable, boot the system and then plug the cable it works perfectly. any help? I'm usin the same board MSI Z77A-GD65

Can you explain how you managed to get the ethernet working again? I tried to install "AppleIntelE1000e.kext" from hnak , but it did not work
