How to extend the iMac Pro to X99 [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Thanks @michaeljeger and @kgp. After 10.13.6 my computer became severely slow. It hanged (2/5 seconds) doing simple tasks. Saw the microcode update only yesterday and flashed it. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but seems working good for now. At least not hanging. I thought I had 4 bad DDR4...

How to extend the iMac Pro to X99 [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hi mr KGP! As usual, perfect install / update. No problem whatsoever (just a tiny mistake from my part that resulted in APFS that I didn't want, but no harm done since diskwarrior is APFS support now). That being said, just a tiny question, again, if you can help... How to enable...

    The Perfect Customac-Pro: X99-A II, i7-6950X, 128GB G.Skill TridentZ, Aorus GTX 1080 TI Xtreme

Dear Sir, you rock! I Spent one after afternoon, and most of the night and didn't achieve the implementation. For me, there's no problem whatsoever, since, I only use one Conector. The only "downside" (you can laugh....) is one cable inside the case that can be seen xD So, no problem for me :)...

I Think you did get the point in my previous post :) I was not make a tantrum, or demanding any kind of obligation from you, just pinpointing the steps I did, and responding to the part where he said maybe only one connection works at a time. No hard feelings whatsoever, just trying to help in...

    The Perfect Customac-Pro: X99-A II, i7-6950X, 128GB G.Skill TridentZ, Aorus GTX 1080 TI Xtreme

I only use one internal connector at a time. So, unfortunately, in my case, the connector near the Audio connector didn't work. Had to switch to the other. This is something relatively new, since 10.12.5 and prior it was working with that connector (and USBGeneric kext and the dsdt patches)...

Sorry, not at all my intent to make the drama. It's been a stressful days, and so, anything that messes with my (kinda) process takes me off.... And sometimes (most times) my English is really bad, so, something I say can be wrongfully interpreted. Once again, terribly sorry. So, to clarify...

It is 6,1 and, 10.12.6. Maybe it's something faulty with the ports for unknown reason (doubt, since, as stated, they work at boot and bios). I revised the bios settings, and they are correct (I even patched to the newest bios!) Upon a review of what/when/why/how this thing happened I will post...

    The Perfect Customac-Pro: X99-A II, i7-6950X, 128GB G.Skill TridentZ, Aorus GTX 1080 TI Xtreme

Workaround, while I dunk a cup of coffee: I switched the internal plugs, just to see if the other ports worked. And voila! It worked LOL. So if I can make a statement: your Kext, although correct, doesn't work for all my internal USB ports (in this case, I was using the bottom connector, near...

Gonna check your tutorial with both eyes (LOL). Since I though I needed windows (or working USB ports) to pinpoint which was which. I will make a statue from clay with your name :)

I'm "sure". I mean, it works at boot (I can see in the bios any hdd/usb flash connected) and, at EFI clover selection screen it shows. But then, at OSx initiation it kinda shutdown. I've tested an HDD that only lights if it has data connection, and, if its connected at boot it stays with the...

Hi you beautiful bastard :D So, did an intensive port test. All back panel ports work, USB3 + USB2 and any crossmatch imaginable. Front Ports (two USB3 front ports, connected internally) don't work, at all.. Not USB3, USB2. I don't have windows currently in this machine, so, how can I find/map...

It's half working, but manageable non the less! Far better than before. Only 2 front Ports not working, in either USB2 or 3 (and not charging). Any ideia what to do? Physically they're connected, but more than that... Was after that petty 10.12.6 (a auto update unfortunately). EDIT: I'm SLOW...

This Mobo must be cursed >> It does not work! Kexts and config used attached. Am I missing something?! Sorry, and thanks! I'm creating a new USB for High Sierra non the less.. If I can't solve it, I will [sniff sniff] do a full clean install... Oh the work >> Oh, only USB2 Ports work! USB3...

Hi KGP (or if someone can help, great!) The current problem is: NO USB3 working, at all! Latest clover, and config+kext attached. If someone can give me a clue, holy $hit I'll kiss you! Mac OSX 10.12.6 I'm really in a pickle, since this is a workstation, and working video over USB2 is...
