My BIOS is on F7, I've tried that boot flag with your recommendations, and tried the recommendations in their thread (I've read through that once twice) and nothing. But thank you for trying to help.

Alright, so I somehow randomly got past that screen. I tried booting with -v maxmem=4096 -no-zp and I see a spinning beachball with random gray/grainy rectangles on my screen.

I reset my CMOS and the same message appears: "Reboot and Select proper Boot device etc."

I've tried maxmem=4096 and that doesn't alleviate the screen going black. I would try the other boot flag, but I can't figure out how to get to my bios right now. I'm looking at a flashing underscore. Do you know how I can get to my BIOS? My computer is a brick now.
