My Hachintosh (MSI 660 motherboard-12600 CPU) have the 4 RAM slots filled with 16GB sticks for a total of 64GB. Works perfect with XMP not enabled. If I enable XMP, I have random rebooting or errors. If I use only two memory sticks, I can use XMP without problems. So no XMP for me. I loose some...
I installed an AMD RX 6600 POWERCOLOR FIGHTER (bulk) in my MSI B660 system-Ventura-12600-64GB. The screen goes black for 3 or 4 seconds just before the end of the boot sequence and then it shows the desktop. Beside that, everything is normal.

1-I’m using the SSDT-PLUG-ALT.aml. Is it necessary to add the SSDT-PLUG-ALT-12.aml also? Or just one of the two...

Since that Apple is building the new Mac Pro with ATI cards, wouldn't be more future proof to choose one of them instead of Nvidia?Apparently they are also beeter with open CL and FCPX. Compressor and Motion. Any comments on this?

Thanks for the information, I installed Mavericks and now I can report that the VGA is working on this 650 card.(Zotac). Mavericks seems to be very compatible with everything so far!
Hi Ultrazone,
Are you using the VGA connection on the 650? If not, do you think it could work?
Sorry if this was asked previously but I couldn't find this information on this thread.
Thanks
Ric
Some time ago I read an article in another forum that said that editing the DSDT is important when changing the amount of ram:
