Sorry guys, just realised the theres a setting for XMS in both Advanced Freq settings and Advanced Memory settings. Seems to be the same thing but one was set to 'profile 1' and one was 'disabled'. Weird but seems to be fixed now

Hey thanks man, so hard drives don't normally cause much problems then? I don't have the two from the guide as they're sold out, but your saying that any seagate barracuda hdd or sandisk ultra plus ssd should work fine? thats a relief, am new to this : )
