    i'm running mavericks 10.9 because my apogee ensemble a/d converter for home recording works and i've heard of issues on later versions. Although I may update to 10.9.2 so I can get the newer nvidia drivers but i need to clone my drive first.

    Hello, First of all thanks for helping.. Heres how the results went. **ALL attempts were made with 1 dimm stick which is 4 gigs ram** 1) Boot args -v,-f,-x,nv_disable=1,cpus=1,maxmem=4096,-no,-zp results system began to boot then went to sleep 2) Just 1 DIMM with no boot flags results...

    Thanks for the tip, Using the boot -args you gave 1st from the volume and the system tried to boot went to the white screen wheel was spinning then went to sleep mode.. 2nd attempt I then tried the same boot -args from the usb and got the screen shot attached.

    Okay I think I can get this to boot I just need the right commands to get past the fact the system goes to sleep while it tries and boot. I think its because of the graphics card... The system tries and boots when I type -x at boot prompt it shows the bar that something is loading gets half way...

    thanks for the suggestion.. I'm not seeing a way to target the new drive... Its trying to load on my current system..I tried dragging the multi beast folder to the target drive and running it from there..Is there a way to target the drive ?
