I have the same adapter. I just got off the phone with TP-Link and they said that it is not Mac compatible. I don't think that it has anything to do with the motherboard. There must be some Kext files that fix it though.

Ya Mattie I think VGA is very unreliable and you shouldn't use it for that.

The DSTD file for my Gigabyte Z87-HD3 motherboard not on the list. How do I make one myself the file? Or are there any other ways of finding the DSTD file for my motherboard? I understand how Go to Folder works but how do I find the location?

How exactly do you find that DSTD file in the extra folder? I understand that you have to copy it and put it in the Mavericks extra folder but I do not know how to find that folder either. I am having a problem with my ps2 keyboard but the mouse works fine.
I am having the same problem as well. I have researched it some but there is not much about it, especially on Tonymac. I would love if someone knowledgeable about the topic would post something about it.
