    Here's the article I followed, it was very educational. http://www.techreaction.net/2010/09/07/ ... lynnfield/

    Asus EEE 1015PN Netbook

I just got this machine, about to head down this road myself. Any progress, or anything in particular getting you stuck at this point?

    i7-870 / GA-P55-USB3 Rev2 F8 / 4.0GHz with 13k+ Geekbench

Here's my noob answer :) I've been perfectly stable at 1600, for stressing I've run hours and hours of mPrime and a straight 16 hour stretch of WoW (which barely registered in activity monitor, lol). I've never KP'd or had the machine restart randomly. The machine's been running for about a...

GA-P55-USB3 above 3.2 GHz (i7 860) results in half speed???

It sounds like you found a workable solution, but I'll still throw my two cents in just in case future searchers need a plan B. I had this happen to me after I was tweaking the CPU advanced energy saver settings in the BIOS...I started getting Geekbench scores about half what I expected. I...

    i7-870 / GA-P55-USB3 Rev2 F8 / 4.0GHz with 13k+ Geekbench

You can see my build info linked in my signature to see what kexts and whatnot I used from Multibeast, otherwise I did nothing special to have the About screen display the system details properly. It took a lot of trial and error to work up to these numbers, and I have no immediate goals to...

    Gigabyte GA P55 USB3, i7-870, HIS 5770, dual display

Kinda...HDMI kicks out a signal when one of the DVI's is attached, but no audio on that signal. It's still wonky, but I'm satisfied so far. I'm keeping my eyes open for a solution, though.

    Gigabyte GA P55 USB3, i7-870, HIS 5770, dual display

Thanks! I just updated the first post with another Geekbench, it gained about 400 going from the board's default 1333 to 1600 (which both the board and memory are certified for, not an overclock).

ATI 5770 below $100 - but does it work?

I've been using mine with two DVI's and it's great, but I tried HDMI and had the same experience you did.

ATI 5770 below $100 - but does it work?

I ordered this same deal, and I'm planning on trying to run HDMI and DVI out of it, so I'll offer any help I can once my new components are delivered.
