Did a EC reset with both that patch applied and not. Both times it worked for about 5 mins if it worked. Gets stuck at a certain % saying not charging. Same thing saying in windows although at different %. L.E. It's kinda glitchy, If i power off the laptop by keeping the power button pressed...

Yea, I read that comment, and removed the # so it will apply that patch too, but it still stays at 100% or 0% when the battery dies and I plug it in. It goes to 100% if I close the laptop and let it charge to 100%.

Thanks for the reply, I managed to fix the battery with one of your exiting patches. It seems to be working correctly now. As for the Backlight Control I've managed to find a post with a potential fix, but I can't seem to make it work. If I apply the patches to the DSDT it's won't boot anymore...
