    GTX970 HDMI audio

@mo @pinklerose I'm honestly not sure - I don't use Chameleon/Chimera myself, though I can't see why it wouldn't work in those environments. These would be questions for the dev. All this modification is is a kext, so it should installed the same way any other kext is. Make sure you are booting...

    GTX970 HDMI audio

If running Yosemite 10.10.2 with Clover: -Ensure OS X is fully updated -Install latest NVidia web-drivers from here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/83647/en-us -Use Andre's kext and guide from this thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1499797. Alternatively...

    GTX970 HDMI audio

Yes, that does sound like your kexts are broken. VoodooHDA works independently of AppleHDA, so if there is something wrong with AppleHDA it would explain why VoodooHDA works and andre's kext does not. Restore your AppleHDA kext to default, either by finding it online and installing it or by...

    GTX970 HDMI audio

That's really strange - it's working great on my 970. All I can say is to make sure you don't have any modified audio kexts (no VoodooHDA stuff, none of toleda's modifications, default AppleHDA). If you're working from a fresh system (in terms of audio) this should be working. What you could...

    GTX970 HDMI audio

Yes, it is. Make sure OS X is fully updated, then update your Nvidia web drivers to the latest version (346.01.01f01). Then follow this guide: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1499797

Nvidia web drivers break HDMI audio?

Yes, this is a known issue. It makes it impossible for Maxwell cards to output HDMI audio, because they need the webdrivers.

    NVidia 780 Ti - HDMI Audio - 10.10.2 & latest Webdriver

What about for those of us with 9x cards who need to use the webdrivers?

Mavericks: HDMI Audio - AppleHDA [Guide]

I seem to have spoken a bit too soon in my thread: I do I have working HDMI audio, but I'm having a couple of startup errors. When chameleon loads, I get: "Error parsing plist file," and then when booting into OSX I get: "Errors encountered while starting up the computer." OSX always boots...

HDMI Audio from Asus GTX 770

Hello, I've recently completed a successful Mavericks install, with the only component not working being my HDMI audio. I've been doing research, but there seem to be so many ways of doing this, I'm completely lost. I've tried playing around with the Voodoo kexts to no avail. Could someone...

    Mavericks on HDD Partition

Got it! I was able to use the MBR patch, reformat, and install from there. Booted with no issues. :D

    Mavericks on HDD Partition

That is what I thought initially, but I was able to format the drive through the use of Aomei. See image. Then I formatted the partition to HFS+ through Paragon. Disk Utility recognizes all of this, and the partition checks out. However, it won't actually install to the HFS+ partition...

    Mavericks on HDD Partition

So, I've come to the point where I need to format the partition, and I'm getting the error: "mediakit reports not enough space on device for requested operation" Everything else seems to check out, and Disk Utility seems to verify the partition just fine. Any ideas? :-(

    Mavericks on HDD Partition

Hello, I'm currently in the process of my first Hackintosh installation, but have been stopped at the actual installation of the OS. The guide I'm following suggests that all data on my HDD will be erased, due to formatting incompatibilities between OSX and Windows. The current setup I'm...
