It's a 2015 retina; I believe it is a proprietary connector...had to find a special adapter for it...

It's from an Apple MacBook Pro with an adapter from Ebay...it shows up fine on the desktop, bios isn't trained to look for boot devices on the PCIe bus.

I have an Apple SSD mounted in a PCIe adapter, and it shows up fine on my desktop. The current mobo (Intel DQ77KB) and bios are unable to see it to boot; and so I'm interested in using it in a new build. Would appreciate any input on brands and/or specific boards that would be able to see it...
