Oh, sorry.
I've missed the line.
Now fixed it but it doesn't improve the sound quality after the wake...
And if this will help: when I change SMBIOS to MacPro6,1 I simply loose audio after sleep.
Thank you.
I suppose.
But I can't calculate what data should i place here:
<key>Command</key>
<data>AhcIgw==</data>
<key>Comment</key>
<string>0x21 SET_UNSOLICITED_ENABLE 0x83</string>
I see codec Id, device, subdevice...
Just added several lines for my ALC900 to info.plist with the code mentioned in your CC branch.
Installed CC 0522 to s/l/e.
But didn't find any changes in after wake sound quality.
Have I missed something?
Should I delete Clover fixes for vanilla AppleHDA?
Thank you, I tried CC already but may give it a second chance.
It worked for me well under 10.10.4 but didn't resolve bad sound problem.
I'll examine what I'll be able to do with info.plist options.
I use now https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC for 1150 codec.
All of Toleda's methods work but audio becomes distorted after the wake.
I didn't use any patches except via Clover.
But till 10.10.5 I didn't experience this problem.
When I used OsX 10.10.4 the problem was solved by...
Oh! Amazing!)
Thanks! At last I've got workable dsdt!
That's strange, but I've tried to sleep-and-wake without patched dsdt.
And nothing bad happened. Like USB freezing that was before.
I think by now it would be better to keep this dsdt for further possible patches.
But I've got working...
Thank you.
I already examined it but still cannot find how to avoid mentioned errors.
I;ve extracted dsdt by several means, and by Clover F4 method trying to decompile it by iasl.
But it failed due to errors in extracted dsdt.
I don;t see how to save an edited dsdt.aml. Those errors don;t...
Tried to follow instructions.
Used mentioned Clover config.plist-based patches and FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext.
Added Clover patch to map _OSI to XOSI.
Then added "the relavant part from SSDT-HACK.dsl" into ACPI/Patched/SSDT-XOSI.aml
I've got non-Intel (ASM-107x) USB3 port...
Thanks a lot!
Though I hoped to get simple answer))
As there is a lot to study for me before I can get through your instructions.
But they are great!
I'll try to fix it via Clover.
I have Lexar USB3 Card reader and it doesn't work with USB3 ports after upgrading to El Cap.
Could you put some diagnosis?
What should I do to get it working?
Does my USB3 work?
Attached is the combined screenshot...
Second one indicate Lexar connected to USB2
Thanks.
Dear RehabMan, sorry if this is offtopic.
But could you comment on my ioreg?
I'm only at the beginning of getting my desktop USB3 work.
Moreover my devices are marked to be connected via USB3 when really they work through USB2.
I also can connect my USB2 devices to USB3 ports.
I've read...
As far as I remember I tried recipes from 2 to 5 as well as simple Reset HDA Clover option.
All of them work in the sense that I get sound after sleep.
But the sound becomes distorted after 15-20 seconds of playback.
If I play continuously then I hear periodic snaps that spoil the music.
