Try to make the rotation trick on the second display as well. System Preferences / Displays / Gather Windows ---> You should see two display properties window on your main monitor. Choose the second one, set the rotation to 90 and then set it back. In my case it waked up the second monitor.

No. My system was already installed, I was booting from the USB Stick. Then I just made the FAT partition, then installed the latest Chameleon on my boot partition, removed the USB Pen drive and boot from the HDD.

Yes you can. You can make new partition using the free space of the drive, it will shorten the original partition. Just follow the partition creation part of that guide.
