Hi I have the same problem, unfortunately replacing the metal screws didn't help, I still can't turn the wifi on..

I get native Bluetooth but no working WiFi using the BCM94360CS2. In principle it should work natively. Injecting AirportBrcmFixup.kext does not help. I've read here that it might be due to the metal screw of the adaptor, so I added some isolating tape as described here but it didn't change...

Hi I am not sure if it helps, but I have a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th gen, running Linux, and the S3 sleep problem was also present on this machine. They fixed it with an update of the BIOS, version 1.30 (see e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lenovo_ThinkPad_X1_Carbon_(Gen_6)#Enabling_S3)...
