Of the manually changed methods or of the apply patch screen?

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

Well I re-downloaded the software and everything and it still won't let me apply. Is ok to replace everything inside the method with the two new lines? Or Is something else changed when you actually apply a patch?

    Here's the DSDT I used iasl to convert. Again I'm patching the Q0E and Q0F methods. DSDT.dsl: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwxALtA7g6dwZjI5SDFLQ2lXenc/view?usp=sharing DSDT.aml: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwxALtA7g6dwZjI5SDFLQ2lXenc/view?usp=sharing

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

Should I just replace those methods with the two lines manually?

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

OK, probably something stupid.... But why is this not patching anything? I load it up in maciasl, go to patches, open it up, and it makes no changes... I am using my own codes, in my case Q0E and Q0F into method label _Q10 replace_content begin // Brightness Down\n...

Thank you, my brightness is now working. My keys aren't though. The don't send ps2 signals as far as I can tell so in trying to find which methods they call. I'm going through the steps, but I can't figure out what you mean by apply ""Add DSDT Debug Methods" and the step after that. Could you...

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

I know, I've been following that tutorial the best that I can but I don't fully understand everything. What else is there to do after patching? I can't seem to find it. And would trying different ids be helpful?

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

I figured out one more thing. Turning on csm in bios fixes the problem from before where I had to sleep and then wake. But the screen is dimmer for some reason. Could a problem from the brightness control be that I'm still on the wrong ig id? There were multiple with the same effect. And sorry...

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

OK well now I've learned that that last post was kind of stupid... Anyways I went through with the brightness control guide, and it didn't work... Keep in mind that I haven't installed clover to my HDD, I've just been using my USB as I'm figuring out what to patch before I do it final. That may...

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

Ok, so ill just buy a new card. So now i'm focusing on brightness and and battery. It looks like the best way to fix those is by patching your DSDT/SSDT. I'm about to delve into learning how via your guides but I just want to make sure of one thing first. Will patching these affect all oses...

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

well unfortunatley it looks like i have an AR9485 Qualcomm Atheros, which isn't supported at all. I am willing to purchase a new card, though. What would you recommend I get? I want it to fit inside, so nothing external. Needs to work with Yosemite, Windows 8, and Ubuntu... Any ideas?

Laptop does not recognize unibeast flash drive!

Ah, okay cool, thanks. So any advice for post install? I found working Ethernet, touchpad, and audio. But I need WiFi, screen brightness, keyboard backlight, and battery indicator. Those are the only ones I think. Along with those should I install anything else for performance, battery, etc?
