About to give up on this :( GTX 670 in a MSI Z77 with ALC892. followed the guide to enable HDMI but so far no success at all... Attaching DSDT and ioreg, if somebody has any suggestions they are welcome :(

They don't, bad things WILL happen. As I said when the issue on 10.8.0 appeared please be patient while new drivers are provided. In the meantime, just revert to 10.8.1 and enjoy your sleep.

Umm don´t. forget about re-flashing, won't do you any good. With a bit of lack the codepaths for fermi weren't stripped out in the kepler driver.. Unlikely but worth a try. Well... unfortunately there is nothing bug wait... Maybe anybody could report the issue in...

You don't need to wait for a OS update to release an updated driver... Still, I would recommend editing the devids to try to load the Kepler driver instead...

It is a known issue... patience.

Can somebody try the following... (only GF11x+ boards, check here to see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#GeForce_400_Series) Disable the NVGF100.kext and add the pci dev ids of their device into the kepler driver... Reboot and report if it works...

Can anybody share the *full* log in console.log when the corruption happens?

Does the freezing issue still happen if AGPM is disabled?
