If it's not installed with PBI CE then no, where can I get it?
EDIT: If it's easier to disable Bluetooth completely, that would be fine too, a server doesn't need it.
Hi,
I've been noticing lately that the fans on my ProBook start running faster even when idle, and I suspect the reason for this is that the blued process uses a lot of CPU randomly. I don't even use Bluetooth on the laptop, there are no devices paired.
How can I start debugging this?
After upgrading Chimera to 2.0.1, I started to get the "Unable to handle key xxxxx" messages, and among them are current-network and preferred-networks. The reason I noticed this is that every time I boot, I need to manually select the network which to connect, even though they are saved in my...
Hi,
My ProBook is otherwise working perfectly, except most of the time when I shut it down, it takes over 20 seconds and there's no noticeable activity. I started to debug this and found out that the reason is that two processes refuse to quit and are forced to quit after 20 seconds of...
The guide doesn't instruct to turn off Time Machine completely, the tweak just stops creating local backups onto the SSD and instead waits for the external HDD to be connected before backing up. This reduces wear on the SSD. See more info about local backups on Apple's site...
I'm running on a Samsung 830 128GB drive and works perfectly. I'd recommend following at least a few steps of the guide here: http://blog.alutam.com/2012/04/01/optimizing-macos-x-lion-for-ssd/ to keep your SSD in good shape. The tweaks I'm using:

Hmm, that's weird. I used to have a LOT of glitches prior to switching the resolution from the list (notification center, mouseovers, shadows, lag while opening apps) but as soon as I selected the other 1600x900 resolution all of that went away and i haven't had one glitch since. If it isn't...
I had to manually select the new custom resolution from this window after creating it on the Custom Resolutions tab and rebooting. As you see, there are two 1600x900 resolutions, so if you have glitches after the reboot, just try the other one. After this I've had zero glitches.
You might want to add that you have to activate the new custom resolution on the "Current resolutions" tab after the reboot. After that all the graphics glitches were gone for me.
