High Sierra - Sleep broken after recent security update

(this has been edited to better represent the issue as I am narrowing it down) Short description - Working High Sierra clean install, Sleep is broken after installing the recent 'security update'. I have recently installed 10.13.1 onto my H-97I-Plus with a GTX1070 build. I have gotten as far...

Now that's one sexy case! - Rosewill Legacy MX2-S

Fundamental failure with PSU location for thermal reasons. Dumping hot air at the bottom of the case. Sure its not a huge amount, but given that the power cables are routed at the back of the mobo, and cable lengths are not commonly an issue, the PSU really should be swapped with the HDD. Have...

    Z87E-ITX Updates

Great to see more progress with the Asrock Board. I have been using my system with 10.8.5 since November. I am on a PM Patched 1.90 bios. Had to spend some time with DSDT edits at the time to get audio and sleep partially working to some degree. I have not yet moved to mavericks, mostly...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

Disabling all wake methods does not change the sleep issue. This is using the dsdt with the SIOW method removed, but the _PRW methods maintained. Sleep still works fine, but it instant wakes due to "USB1" All USB devices were removed, same wake reason.

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

Interesting... Wake by LAN, PCE? My computer is currently in pieces across two desks. Building a temp controlled fan controller before putting it back together again. Shall try this at some stage. Have not read up what your mentioned, but I do recall that we did have a whole lot of wake...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

Have you considered a mATX solution? I have an arc mini version 1 and if it wasn't a need for more portability, it is one of the best cases I have used. Weight does hamper portability though, and those extra 5kgs is like having two lots of hdds. Aside from the weight, its an extremely...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

Still not totally there yet.. I just fried the fan control on my mobo by accidentally shorting 12v to ground on the fan output end due to swapping fans around with loose connectors floating around, so my current distraction is making up a DIY temperature fan speed control to replace the mobo one...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

I find that with the default (no DSDT), the following is noted with regards to sleep. Sleep works in the sense that the computer can be made to sleep by all the normal methods - menu, keyboard shortcut, and autosleep. The computer however Immediately wakes up, but the screen remains black for...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

In my install, I did not bother with the 4600 graphics because I did not ever intend on running it as such. I did however early on use the integrated graphics port during a few installs, and I recall that the installation part went fine with the integrated graphics. I would guess that this means...

About ASRock Z87E-ITX Motherboard - The Spec sheet is hot!

I have bought that board because it suits the case its going to go into perfectly, with BIOS level fan control (can turn off fans too), correct CPU placement, and appropriate locations for all the connectors for my case. As a PC it operates excellently! but the hackintosh part is trickier...
