That worked.
Before i tackle the display issue, i updated to Mojave. I used your newest EFI folder and performed the update. Video is screwy now. (single screen, regardless if the second display is connected or not) When i full screen a program, everything looks fine, but when they are not...
Doh, I figured it out, it was in my mixer
Is there something special i need to do to make Clover boot from my SSD. Right now it fails and defaults in to bios settings. I feel like i missed a step here.
I will reference the guide and report back. The issue is on boot only.
Currently it...
I updated Bios. This gave me 64Gb of Ram. Audio is now working, but its only coming out of the right side. I checked the audio options, and it is set to the center. If i pan to the left, I have no audio. If i use my mixer (attached to the 3/8th jack out of the back of the mobo) and pan to...
So i don't need MultiBeast at all?
How do i get audio to work? Right now the system doesn't see a sound card.
As for BIOS. I'll reboot and see if i can update it. Stand by.
So ghosting my harddrive from my macbook to the SSD for hackintosh worked. I'm now in. At current, it is only seeing 32 gigs of my ram (i have 64gb installed) (which im sure i can correct by changing it from thinking its an imac), and i don't have working sound. In multibeast, which sound...
It's a Cruicial mx300 2TB SSD drive. I had it in my MacBook Pro, but recently pulled it after upgrading it to a 4 tb drive.
I also cannot get Mojave directly through my MacBook. It's an early 2011. So I used it to build a High Sierra USB installer. (Tried it twice throughout this process...
verbose mode doesn't tell me anything. But looking in the installer log, it appears that although disk utility reports it setup my disk correctly, the installer log is saying otherwise.
Regardless of whether I format my drive as MacOS Extended (Journaled) or APFS, as soon as i go to the...

When i install High Sierra, It goes to install, the meter gets about 30-35% across, it says it has 2 minutes remaining, then the system just reboots. If i try to boot...
So High Sierra lets me in to the installer. After running disk utils, formatting my drive, I go to install High Sierra. After a minute it says "two minutes remaining" then the system restarts. When attempting to launch from the hard drive to finish the install, I get this message.
High Sierra Is no good. see attached
EDIT: Doh. I found this. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/fix-solution-for-selected-mac-os-x-installer-is-incomplete.249330/
Unibeast for High Sierra is now running. The below post was using the El Capitan Unibeast/Clover.
Done. I thought i did that earlier, but I guess i was setting up the Build Signature.
Thank you, downloading now
So I assume UEFI then. I was trying both options as i don't know the difference between 300 series and 5/6 series. When booting, however, it says "Press Del or F2 to enter Bios...
I am running:
Chipset Z370
ASUS Rog Strix Z370-F Mobo
Intel i7 8700k
Im running video out of the HDMI port on the mobo.
After trying and failing to install snow leopard using the DVD due to my system being too new, I have attempted El Capitan.
I have a Macbook Pro that is unable to get...
