Been struggling for 2 days getting this to work!
Seting grub to chainload the drive number only, instead of the drive number plus a partition number fixed it for me as well!
i.e.
set root=(hd2)
chainloader +1
Now boot Linux/Ubuntu (sda1), Win7 (sdd1) and OS X...
Solved it!
Re-ran MultiBeast wilt additional option for sound, and it works now!
Audio: ALC885/889a
Optional HDAEnabler: Audio ID: 1
So screenshot does not have the correct setting, but I borrowed it from another page here in the forum.
Did you guys ever get sound working on the GA-EP45-UD3R board with Yosemite?
In MultiBeast (v.7.0.2), I chose for Audio: ALC885/889a
Seems to be stuck here also, everything else seems to work though!
