oh wait, something is not correct... When I select windows as the boot partition in Chameleo, I get : BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart... Although, when selecting the boot device as the sata1, that boots ok into windows.

in order not to screw up my OSx drive, I simply unplugged the sata cable just to be safe. Once win7 is installed and patched and all, i'll power down, plug osx drive sata0 back and bootup and see if the bootloader shows windows as an option. Thanks, will report back in 15-20 min.

I have 2 hdd, one has a working osx lion 10.7.3 and the other drive is to be used for windows. How do i install windows on the second drive without screwing up the first drive that has lion on it.

it is set to 64bit, but when i do uname -a it shows i386... So wondering how to change it so my mac runs in 64bit mode. boot plist also shows i386

Yes please post your options you picked in multibeast ! Let me know which version of multibeast also... I used a DSDT based on F8 bios. We have the same Video card too, I also have the ATI Radeon HD5770
