Works on my 970 GTX, but I still have problem booting with both displays connected (2x DVI or DVI+HDMI or DVI+DP, some problem). Connecting the second monitor after boot works great! I have an Asus 970 Strix

Hey, I've installed a 290X in my rig this weekend. It works (great performance) but I have some issues (black screen on login, no dual monitor). There are still some stuff I will try out this week (ex: patch framebuffer). Knowing what I know today, I would buy a 970GTX.

M290X is Pitcairn, not the same chip as the Desktop R9 290X that has a Hawaii chip. The M295X is a new product, but rumours suggest it is a new chip named Tonga (R9 285 on desktop). Some people got 290X to work but there's still some framebuffer issues (no multi monitor support). I hope...
