After replacing my GTX660Ti with GTX960 every now and then I get a black screen using macOS. Everything boots just fine, but sometimes after boot and using the OS the screen goes black for a second or so and then goes back. It is a bit annoying.
Does somebody have this issue?

Everything is now working again 100%. The problem was that I had to set PCIE as primary display. Edited first post for my new install. Please edit thread name to SUCCESS!
For me worked changing bios settings to Primary Display - PCIE, and iGPU multi monitor support - disabled. now it boots without problems. I've noticed that there were IntelHD kexts loading, but I had my GTX660Ti.

I had a similar problem. For me worked setting primary display to pcie and disabling igpu multimonitor in bios. This Ive figured out after 2 days trying everything else.
Finally! Got it to boot without -x! in system.log I saw some lines about integrated gpu loading errors, so in bios I choose PCIE as primary display and disabled iGPU multimonitor support. Thats it! System booted without problems with my gtx 660ti!

Well it was a successful build until I updated to 10.8.4. other people can see that there are problems after updating to 10.8.4.
