OK, but I guess this is not related to my HDA issue now since I have Clover configured with:
System Parameters -> Inject Kexts : Detect
According to my understanding, with this option all the kexts are loaded only from /L/E/ for normal boot and I have both lilu and VirtualSMC there.
It is...
Done. Still having the issue :/
The one from this thread - post #1.
I thought it might help fixing the issue after reading this guide about how to install 3rd party kexts.
Description of HDMI audio problem: The HDA device randomly appears and disappears everytime I switch on my computer. When it appears, I can happily listen to audio - working flawlessly.

Thanks for helping. I wasn't really reporting a problem, but more like asking a question :)
Could you please just tell me whether it makes any difference if I install whatevergreen.kext and lilu.kext in /L/E compared to /E/C/O?
I have the same issue as @vahids . The HDA device randomly appears and disappears everytime I switch on my computer. When it appears, I can happily listen to audio - working flawlessly.
I have whatevergreen.kext and lilu.kext installed in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other. Does it make any difference...
Thanks for your help. I deleted this kext and still the rear fan isn't spinning once I log in. Otherwise power management seems to works very well. I attached screenshots from Intel Gadget and HWMonitor. 4th chassis fan is missing there.
I recently added Rehabman's HWSensors (with the FakeSMC package and all) and now I noticed that my rear fan doesn't work. It stops spinning the moment I log in. I tried both with my compiled power management SSDT (generated ssdtPRGen.sh) and with PluginType=true.
Removing all...
Hi,
I've been running my hackintosh (High Sierra 10.13.3 17D47) for over a year without any issues on i7-8700K with GTX 1080ti.
I remember a year ago there was a big mess with the driver for 10.13.3 and I had to stick with an older version 378.10.10.10.25.104.
I know that Mojaves doesn't have...
You can do that via Device Manager. Right click the device and Disable Driver.
I tried it several times, it doesn't help.
Regarding your screen tearing, you might want to try the latest Nvidia Web Driver .156. At least in the very brief minutes that G-Sync was working for me while I was in...
I'm having the same issue. Dual boot. Windows 10 on its own SSD and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 with Nvidia web driver .104 (the latest driver causes terrible graphics lags) on its own SSD. Acer predator xb271hu monitor.
I noticed in Windows 10 that G Sync feature was all of a sudden missing from...
I'm on 8700K, High Sierra 10.13.3 (specs in my signature) and had the same graphics lag issue with web driver version 387.10.10.10.25.156. I managed to fix it by installing older web driver version: 378.10.10.10.25.104.
The way to install an older version of the web driver on a later version...
