    macOS 12.3.1 Update

Updated to 12.3.1 with OC 0.8.0 (compiled a week ago ish). Shikuno Aquantia patch from 0.8.0 still works!

Monterey 12.3 Update Caused Aquantia 107 to Fail

My ASUS XG-C100c stopped working when updating to 12.3 (blackscreens, kernel panics). It has an Aquantia 107 chipset. It needed a driver patch before, probably needs a new patch for 12.3.

If you used my folder this makes sense as the IGPU is configured as headless - i.e no display output

Based on your profile you are not running the same hardware as I run, and it will very likely fail. You need to investigate what is required for your motherboard and CPU. Hope that helps.

You have to create a new USB-map to enable an additional extra internal USB port for the wifi card (or just run without the USBmap kext and enable all USBports in Opencore - temporary fix that works). Other than that it should be plug and play!

I understand now - you actually need to generate a new USBMap file to make it work because my map doesn't have support for the second USB extension port. The USBmap tool makes it quite easy, but you gotta do it from scratch basically. Check this (and make sure to read prerequisites - very...

Sweet. Are you using my USBMap or do you want to generate your own? The dortania guide to create USBMap is really good. It uses a commandline tool instead of Hackintool. But you can't have an USBMap kext active for this, obviously. Sorry I can't be of more help!

In config.plist the kernel settings there's a quirk that is called XhciPortLimit you can enable

I didn't think it was necessary, to be honest. But maybe it can be beneficial? I haven't noticed any instability at least. Unclear to me what it actually does compared to not having it In my build, in the process of building the USBMap, all the ports showed up just by using the...

That's great! The dortania guide is really good as you say, and you learn a lot from reading/doing it. Regarding USBs: You can surpass the 15 port limit if you don't limit the amount of USB3 ports (because each physical port counts as two if you enable both USB2 and USB3 on it) Anyway, nice...

Based on your specs I believe you can use my EFI directly, minus USB-mapping. Just follow this general guide on Dortania: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ .. and use my EFI with the USB changes removed. You may also need to get the NVMeFix.kext, but it's probably not required
