    Switching from nvidia to amd what steps are needed please

    I did exactly the same two days ago. I just needed to remove all the Nvidia-related kexts (Lilu, Whatevergreen, etc) and flags and also uninstall the webdrivers and CUDA drivers. After all that's left is to replace one card for the other and that's all.

    I'm having the same issues, both on Sierra and High Sierra. Following the idea that was Nvidia-related, I switched to a Radeon RX 580 8192 MB, who is natively supported, and uninstalled the web drivers.     So I managed to make the system boot after removing the GTX card and using the integrated graphics. I uninstalled the old NVidia drivers and reboot, then installed the new drivers and reboot again. Now the login screen appears in the adequate resolution (so it's using the NVidia Web Drivers) but...
