Were you able to boot from the hard drive (without iBoot)?

Absolutely the same thing for me. I tied 2 times without any luck. Reinstalled 10.6.0 and upgraded to 10.6.4. Can anybody help us with that?

In many posts it was reported that ASUS P7P55D-E systems needed extra steps to update to Mac OS 10.6.5. Did anybody succeeded in fully updating his ASUS P7P55D-E system with booting from hard drive? If yes, could you share the steps I need to make to perform the update? Thanks in advance@

I installed 10.6.5, rebooted... my system boots into error screen. I tried iBoot and it freezes during booting. Any ideas how to boot into Mac OS to be able to run MultiBeast?
