@vettz500, @takki I can confirm that new dGPU patches keep it off on my laptop even after sleep/wake, that's awesome!
As for 15,3 usb-c thing, it works too, but it shows absolutely invalid serial number now in about this Mac along with no model specification, MacBook Pro instead of MacBook...
Not sure if we need pet, but it's one of the IRQ conflicts thing, and it is said that without them audio and trackpad might now work properly, haven't had a chance to test for any difference though.
As for PLUG, the one you just linked is a template for all various possibilities that your cpu...
Don't know if you know, but 1) you can boot trough UEFI menu to avoid OC stuff in Windows; 2) there is a fork of OC that doesn't apply patches to other OSs.
I think that any tool that does it when booted to os will dump already modified tables as we have hot patches in config.plist that are applied on boot. I might be wrong though.
So when I now use this sleep trick to get 144hz, I've noticed that dGPU is waking up after sleep immediately (fans start spinning and doesn't stop no matter what, while when it's turned off they are idle when doing nothing on cpu).
You're saying this patch helped you to beat that thing right...
Turned Thunderbolt back on in UEFI settings and the trick with apple-logo-sleep worked :DDD
Now I finally have it at 144hz, niceeeeeeeeeeee.
Still a workaround though, has to be another way.
Right click should work, check trackpad settings in system prefs on how exactly it should.
In OC you have to include every .aml file via config.plist.
To check if pinning is applied I don’t remember how, should be somewhere on page 50, or page 90 or page 120, on this thread :(
You've used latest EFI from my GitHub repo? If so you shouldn't have to do any patching, trackpad should just work. Then if you want to do GPIO pinning that's another story.
