Apparently whining about it is like lighting a cigarette while waiting for the bus. The minute you light up the bus will arrive.
Like I stated in my post "seemed to fix itself"
Im trying to create my Unibeast install and it just sits on copying files. I used my Macbook Pro which is running High Sierra to format the USB (I've tried multiple drives). I've run into this problem on other installs and it seemed to fix itself. My Hackintosh is running High Sierra and It's...
Partitioned drive in diskutil then went to install and got the message "Could not connect to recovery server".
I've never seen this before. Fresh install of High Sierra 10.13.3 Unibeast 8.2. Wnt back to the previous Unibeast and 10.13.2
and it is installing fine. This is more of an FYI post in...
I was just wondering if installing HS with HFS on an SSD will be a problem during updates since APFS seems to be the default when installing. I installed with the HFS since the APFS gave me trouble. My system is working well and I'd hate for an update to muck it up.
Thanks
I am installing High Sierra on a Gigabyte GA-Z270N WIFI and was wonder if someone with the same board chose a different MAC version than the default iMAC 14,2.
Here are the Specs:
Gigabyte GA-Z270N WIFI
ASUS GTX 1050ti
16 gig Crucial Ram
Samsung 840 pro SSD 500 gig
Thanks
I wish I had found this a few days ago. This page was huge hekp. Only thing I did wrong the first 2 tries was to run it from the diskutils on the USB drive installer. I ran it from the actual install to drive and it was magic. This need to be a stickie. Thank you for taking the time to write...
Multibeast was installing fine on my last El Capitan build now I can install all the helpers but my ALC1150. Just wondering if anyone else is have this work then it doesn't work problem.
Nevermind. I found the problem. Combo update was only a partial file. I downloaded 10.10.5 and created a USB with Unibeast which worked nicely. Just need to add a few drivers and I'll be in great shape. I have extra SSD's so I saved my 10.10.2 install for emergencies.
Does the image file need to be renamed before creation? My last install had the file for 10.10.3 called "Install OS X Yosemite" but I have since moved to a new install and with a fresh download from the app store into my Applicationd folder Unibeast wont get through the OS selection.
Thanks in...
