I tried for a long time with this board (rev 1) and I got it to work by choosing "CloverEFI 64-bit BiosBlockIO" under the CloverEFI options. This is different than all the guides that tell your to use "CloverEFI 64-bits SATA".
Worth a shot if you have not tried it yet.

Make sure to install the latest Chimera bootloader. I was afraid to install at first thinking it may mess up Snow Leopard, but after trying everything else, installed Chimera. After a reboot I was able to download Lion without any issues.
Installed great...even after power outage with 8...
This may sound silly, but in my bios, USB keyboard and mouse was not enabled by default so I had this issue as well. Just make sure both are enabled in bios.
