I have the GA-z87x-ud 4h. I could not get the 97 series to function. I put out a post wondering if any other motherboards freezes in Mavericks? I am looking in the Asus family next time. Any info, let me know.

Whats going on? Did you try the freezefix file? So far my hack has frozen over ten hours. I let the machine run overnight. This morning it froze within 30 seconds. But the freeze fix had to be ran again. Now I typing this response to you, and no freeze.

How are you? need help. I have the ga-z97x-ud5 h. In bios, I can not find the"vt-d" option. I can not select X.M.P to put Profile 1. I have a Haswell build. i7 4770k, Hyper X memory 1866 and Hyper X ssd. I believe it is my bios. I can not access these options. Help is greatly appreciated.

That is cool. I kept trying that kext stuff and could not get the sound to work. I was thinking of going sound card. As long as it works. By the way what were your bios setup?
