No sound after 10.8.2 update (alc898)
I had the same problem after updating to 10.8.2, I tried everything (with DSDT or without DSDT) and nothing worked for me. I solved the issue by updating my mobo's bios from F4 to F14. Since, I do not have any problem and everyting's working smooth without DSDT.
