Can't boot with clover and RAID drives

I've got the same problem. A couple of drives as software RAID for storage, not boot. But I can't seem to get to the clover boot select screen if they're plugged in. Tried doing custom entries, but can't find a single good example online to see if I'm setting it up correctly (i.e. what it...

4K Monitor Support in OS X 10.9.3 - Testing Thread

I'm also able to get scaling working great on a Dell UP2414Q driven by a Gigabyte GTX760 via DisplayPort, but no dice on 60Hz. I've use MacPro3,1 system definition, have tried MacPro6,1 and MacBookPro8,1 with no dice.

My Hack with Dell UltraHD (4K) Display

I've had no luck yet. Waiting for 10.9.2 and perhaps updated Nvidia drivers.

    Hackintosh with 4k capability

I'm running one of the new Dell 24" UltraHD monitors at full res or 1080p HiDPI mode off of a GTX 760 just fine over DisplayPort. The only problems are that I'm stuck at 30Hz refresh until drivers come out that allow MST on Nvidia cards on Mavericks, and I haven't yet figured out a way to...

My Hack with Dell UltraHD (4K) Display

My 24" Dell 2414Q UltraHD was delivered this morning. It doesn't seem like there has been that much experience with displaying 4k at 60Hz over DisplayPort so I thought I'd write up my experiences on in an updatable blog post. For those interested, my hack is running an i7 3770k, 32GB of RAM...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

I have used CS6 and CC. On CS6 at least you had to edit that text file to get it to use non-standard GPU. I think in CC it does that automagically.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

Premiere yes, Resolve 10 beta kind of. It's using some of the GPU because I can playback DNG streams from my 5DIII in realtime. But when I start playing with sliders, it's not great. Should be better. That said, I only dabble in video so YMMV. I'm also a little underwhelmed by 760 support...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

You know what? I take that back. It doesn't look like mine are automatically on anymore either. I had assumed they were because the card was showing up at GTX760 instead of GK 104 after I installed the drivers. That said, don't worry about the ECC tab, your card doesn't have ECC memory. It's...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

Hmm. I don't see any obvious mistakes. That said, I don't think it has anything to do with you starting at 10.8.5 It should work just fine there as well.

Monitor turning on and off - Sappire 6870 Flex - 10.8.4

I'm had a similar problem since I switched out my GTX 650 for a GTX 760 a couple months ago. Every 10 minutes or so the monitor blinks off and on because it seems to loose sync. 30" display over DL DVI Have not found a solution. Was going to rebuild my machine tonight now that 10.8.5 has...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

I've been able to get it working with CUDA by installing the Nvidia web drivers following these directions: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/101270-nvidia-updates-web-drivers-10-8-4-313-01-02f01.html Then manually adding GTX 760 to the supported card text files (do a google search if...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Works - Kinda. Unless you need CUDA I'd just like to throw in my 2 cents on this one. Just bought the Gigabyte OC'ed GTX 760 card to replace a GTX 650 in my 3770/UD5H based system. While it does indeed work when it comes to general usage, I have yet to be able to...

    (90% Success!) GA-Z77X-UP4 TH (No Sleep/Wake)

Try disabling 'Wake on LAN' in the bios. That was giving a few people problems on similar boards. Making them wake up and restart instead of shutdown and the like.

    Building a CustoMac: Buyer's Guide 2012

From what I understand, very few of the Z77 motherboards support dual-link DVI from the internal graphics (except I think the MSI boards), but that DisplayPort resolutions can go up to 2560x1600. Another option is to get a cheap $50 graphics card.
