If you say it's off topic, then it is! I was asking here because the problem was previously identified as having to do with the frame buffer memory size:

Please guide me as to where to ask...
I reinstalled OS X after a reformat. The config.plist should be non-corrupt now. I don't know why GFX0 is missing. I don't know how to find the Tableset? Still get "Integrated Graphics is not installed/enabled". The Pixel Clock patch still improved the resolution to 2560 x 1440 but not full 4k.
Problem Report:
Cannot get 3840*2160 resolution to work anymore (also no sound over HDMI but not important to me). Successfully used pixel clock patch. Unsuccessfully tried Toledo’s framebuffer edits and also tried to edit the clover config.plist manually.
OS X version 10.12.1 / GA-Z87N-WIFI...
gives me:
$ /Users/max/Downloads/audio_cloverHDMI-120_v1.0d.command ; exit;

Aha! It has the value for DP but I'm using HDMI. I'm using clover. Should I paste the text in the file "config-hdmi_hd6000+-100" into my clover config on the EFI?
Trying to use 4k-resolution on the 4600 over HDMI (single screen) but no luck with Sierra. Pixelclock patch increases the resolution but not full 3840 x 2160 only 2560 x 1440. Using clover.
Any suggestions are very welcome!
