I fixed my USB configuration now (thanks to this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/) and the "battery drain / wakeup problem" seems to be fixed!
I'll test it thoroughly the next days and will get back.
Yes, I did test it now and it still happening. It seems like the ThinkPad is waking up every 30 seconds or so (the fan spins up real short) and than it goes back to sleep.
Yes, the WiFi hardware is not compatible-I'm still waiting for the DW1560 to be delivered… Shall I remove the incompatible...
Hi there,
I'm in the process of setting up my Lenovo ThinkPad X270 and most of the things work pretty fine. On of the things that I'm not able to solve is the "battery drain in sleep" problem. I've patched the DSDT for working battery status and CPU PM is working as well. I'm not sure in GPU PM...
I've just checked the X230i patch in more detail and you are totally right-it applies the same changes as my patch. So you could add the X270 to the "Works for" section.
Thanks for the clarification. I was just wondering because it seems like HWP is not working. Do you have an idea why AppleIntelInfo.dat is missing the HWP sections? Or is there any other way to see if it is actually working?
As far as I understand it there are quite some differences to the X220/X230 patches. Sure I didn't compare the performance of your patches to mine but I thought it might be helpful for other X270 users to have a proper patch for their device.
Hi there,
I'm using a Lenovo X270 with i5-7200u CPU and after patching my DSDT for working battery status I found out that my DSDT has no CPU0 node but instead a PR00. Does the PluginType=1 option in clover work with that one or do I need to rename PR00 to CPU0?
Thanks and best wishes,
Mathias
