I know it's been a while since anybody posted on this topic, but I'm having the exact same problem with the power color 6850 scs3 on 10.7.2. However, I did a clean install of 10.7.2, so I don't have the 10.7.1 kexts you mentioned. Could you post them so I can give your fix a try?
