Desktop runs fine though. Animations are smooth, card gets recognized properly and transparency and everything is working like it is supposed to. Games and all 3d stuff on the other hand... I know this is not a fast card anymore, but less than 10fps on every single game I try tells me something...

Web Drivers give me artefacts. Default driver works for me on desktop but playing is impossible and fps is less than 10, no matter what game I try.

Anyone solved this? One more with GTX 550 TI with artefacts on web drivers. Native OS X drivers do work, and I get acceleratio and everything runs beautiful on desktop but when I start a game, it is a horrible dia show and not working the way it is supposed to. I know this is not a fast card now...

I mounted EFI partition with clover configurator, shows correctly on desktop. Reinstalled multibeast/alc887/888b, no help. clover.config included.

OK, i've got a succesfull mavericks installation but with this problem... slow boot and gf 210. Only problem is I have ALC883. The links on the original post doesn't cover this one. What to do ?

Ok just after posting this I found the solution... So it seems the kext from Snow Leopard does work, there just was AppleHDAAudioDisabler.kext on S/L/E... removed it and everything is working now :-)

Got the mavericks install done with this old motherboard but can't get the audio work (ALC883)... The old kext that worked for me on 10.6.8 won't do it anymore.. anyone else with this motherboard and mavericks? I've tried a few kexts now without success.

What was it you used? I have problems with Asus P5k SE and ALC883, no sound :(

Well, atleast I got some audio to show in system info with this package, after 10.6.8 it hasn't shown anything. Still can't get any sound though, and it doesn't show my soundcard in sound properties. Without sound Mac OS is unfortunately useless for me, so have to use Win7 again for now. Too...
